Our Veterinarians
Dr. Bruce Kronkright
DVM
A native of Grand Junction, Dr. Kronkright is a graduate of Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. With over twenty-six years of experience, Dr. Kronkright’s special interests include general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and behavioral medicine. He enjoys working with both his canine and feline patients, as well as ferrets, rabbits, and pocket pets.
Dr. Mark Asmus
DVM
Dr. Asmus was born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado, and is a graduate of Colorado State University. Drs. Asmus and Kronkright were classmates in veterinary school and enjoy being colleagues in practice. Dr. Asmus has special interests in canine and feline internal medicine, cancer treatments, including chemotherapy and surgery, treatment of diabetics, and geriatric medicine.
Dr. Kenny Summers
DVM
Dr Summers was born and raised in Grand Junction. He earned his DVM from Kansas State University in 2004 and spent the first nine years of his career at a busy veterinary practice in Southern California. He returned to the Grand Valley and joined the team at All Pets Center in the fall of 2013. He and his wife have four children, three dogs, and four cats. His interests as a veterinarian include surgery, preventative care, and helping pets lose weight.
Dr. Rachel Vandervelde
DVM
All Pets Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Rachel Vandervelde to our clinic. Dr. Vandervelde (Dr. V or Dr. Van) grew up near Houston, TX. She received her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University and her DVM from Purdue University in 2015. She enjoys working with both dogs and cats, with a special interest in soft tissue surgery and preventative medicine. Dr. Van recently moved to Grand Junction from St. Louis, MO with her husband, Josiah, young baby, Isaac, and goldendoodle, Saige. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking/backpacking, and spending time with family and friends. Come by and meet Dr. Van. She’s a great addition to the All Pets Center team.
Dr. Carmin Bieberly
DVM
Dr. Bieberly graduated from Kansas State University with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2004. She was classmates with Dr. Summers. Dr. B worked at a bustling 4 doctor veterinary hospital in Kansas City for 12 years before moving to Owasso, Oklahoma where she practiced for the last 5 years. Her areas of special interest include small animal soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, dermatology, and lifelong patient care. She most enjoys the relationship she is able to form with clients, as they work together to determine the best care options for each individual pet.

I’ve lived in Grand Junction since I was little. I was born in Wyoming but was raised here. I enjoy hiking and walking the river front trails. I have two cats who I enjoy spending time with. I’ve only been at All Pets Center for a few months now and I love my job. I enjoy seeing all the different animals that come in and out of here & being able to help.

I have worked as a technician for almost 11 years, 6 of those years I have been certified. My family has lived in the Grand Valley area for almost 25 years. I have 2 dogs, Mojo (15-year-old Heeler-Corgi mix); Kenobi Joe (4 months old, Heeler mix); 2 cats, Pippin (11 years) and Optimus (5 years).
